Emily Generva Weasley walked out onto the quidditch felid. She was fully dressed in her Gryffindor attire and wore a wide smile on her face. This was their first practice of the year and she always felt at home on the pitch. She felt free and alive when flying through the air on her Dragon Tail, the newest broom to hit the shoppes in Diagon Alley this year. A beloved present from her Father, George Weasley, who was a legend in his own during his years at Hogwarts.
She slid her goggles down from the top of her head and gently placed them on her face, covering her eyes to protect them from any debris she might come into contact with. She pulled her gloves on tighter and gripped her broom tightly.
Taking one last look around the pitch and seeing she was the first to arrive, she mounted her broom and kicked off hard from the ground. She shot up into the air quickly, her long blonde hair flowing behind her as she continued to pick up speed. She did several aerial movements, consisting of rolls, dives and spins. This year they would win the quidditch cup once more. They had quite a strong team and she had complete faith in them.
She continued flying in the air, making several low passes so she could spot when another one of her team mates arrived.
